I have a few Clarins products from the prodige collection , i was really excited after purchasing the Clarins blush prodige illuminating cheek colour as i never wear blusher but had the counter staff test this on me and after seeing the results i bought it.
Clarins blush prodige illuminating cheek colour costs £19.99 and can be purchased at Boots, Debenhams , and John lewis. You can pick the choice of colours, rosewood, miami pink, sunset coral, soft peach and the colour i bought spiced mocha number 06.
The Clarins blush prodige illuminating cheek colour comes in a sleek gold compact set. It has a lid that flips up so you can see the inside product, under the flip lid is a mirror, the blusher looks a little strange because there is one block of product but has two shades of the same colour and a small gold compact brush that has its own compartment inside the set.
One of the shades is a matt and the other is more of a highlighter with a glisten glow to the powder. The powder texture is really silky.
To apply simply streak the matt colour over the check bones and blend in, then run the highlighter colour over the top. I find the Clarins blush prodige illuminating cheek colour lovely to apply the brush is perfect size for holding and sweeps across the product and cheeks perfectly without gathering up to much of the powder, this was important because of the price i don’t want any of it going to waste.
The look that the Clarins blush prodige illuminating cheek colour creates is a natural glowing complexion. The matt colour is for sculpting and defining the cheek bones the other gives the lovely radiant glow, it almost looks like a pearlescent shade of the mocha.
The Clarins blush prodige illuminating cheek colour definitely has staying power as it only needs applied once for me that’s in the morning and it lasts all day until i take it of at night with make up remover. I love the natural glowing look this gives and works well over my foundation.
I recommend you give this a try i think its brill and get 5 stars from me.
